Part-time undergraduate admission

Admission to part-time studies is carried out by the order of the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, according to specialties (educational programs), approved for the given academic year, vacant places for part-time education and undergraduate educational program.

People with at least secondary, primary, or secondary vocational education can be admitted to the universities of the Republic of Armenia to a part-time educational system, without age restrictions.

APPLICATION FORM COMPLETION

Before filling out the application form, the applicant should visit the YSU Admissions Committee on the specified days and hours, get a personal ID card number, and then register on the website dimord.am and fill out the application form.

To receive a personal ID card, the applicant should submit an identity document and a receipt for the fees paid for participating in the exams to the YSU Admissions Committee (in case of passing the exams). Applicants who are exempted from paying the fees set for examinations submit the relevant grounds (paragraphs  41, 42 and 43 of the rules).

The application regarding the exams and the application for the registration of specialties are sent to the ATC electronically (online) through the website dimord.am: from September 5 to September 25 inclusive, until 18:00.

When filling out the application, the applicant can indicate one university with up to three specialties, note that the first specialty application has priority over others, and the applicant participates in the competition for other applications only if there are vacancies in those specialties.

YSU applicants can receive further information related to the application form completion through a phone call on the specified days and hours (tel.: (+374 60) 710 777).

Applicants participating in part-time studies entrance exams should pay a 1500 dram fee for each exam to the ATC bank account, specifying the following information:

ATTENTION!

In the absence of the above data (especially the applicant's full name), the payment receipt will be considered invalid.

YSU-statement-about-exams

ATC will conduct the unified part-time learning admission exams between October 20 and October 27 of the current year.

Information about the date, time, and place of the exam will be sent to the applicant's email address. It should be printed and brought to the relevant exam center on the day of the exam with an identity document.

The applicant must be careful and consistent with his/her e-mail address specified in the application.

From filling out the application to the publication of admission lists, any information will be provided to the applicant by email, which will be considered official.

Necessary documents that should be taken to the relevant dean's office after admission to YSU

  • Graduation document (certificate or diploma with the mark sheet),
  • 1 photo (3x4 size),
  • Identity document,
  • Additional original documents if using privileges considered with points 41, 42, and 43,
  • A document certifying the positive assessment of the joint examination (ATC certificate).

  • Passport and birth certificate (The PDF versions of the original documents are sent to the e-mail address dimord@ysu.am, and after admission, are taken to the dean's office of the relevant faculty)

Announcement

The YSU admission lists for the undergraduate part-time studies will be posted on October 30 on the website ysu.am ("Admission" -> "Undergraduate Admission" -> "Part-time studies"). Applicants admitted to part-time studies should submit the originals of the required documents to the relevant dean's office on November 1, in accordance with Point 12 of the part-time studies admission regulations).

Part-time classes begin on November 1.

If the applicant is accepted to part-time studies at YSU and is conscripted into the national army, a family member should visit the dean’s office of the respective faculty from November 1 to 5, submitting the required documents, as well as the certificate of departure to the national army and form a postponement, otherwise the applicant will lose his place.

Working days and hours of the part-time studies Admissions Committee for the 2023-2024 academic year

The YSU Admissions Committee works from September 5 to September 25 inclusive, from 10:00 to 17:00, on September 25 until 18:00.

Break: 13:00-14:00

Weekends: September 9, 10, 16, 17, 21 and 23
