"Universitian" theater-studio
To be included in the theater studio, students take part in a special competition test, during which the ones with theatrical skills are selected.

Charles Aznavour Cultural Center
Along with educational processes, YSU pays great attention to students' extracurricular life as well.
In this last period of RA independence, the cultural life of YSU experienced a new rise. In June 2006, by the decision of the Academic Council of YSU, the Center of Culture was established, the priority tasks of which were the coordination of the cultural life of the university, the cultural events held among the university students, as well as the consolidation of the events organized by the structures operating in YSU and ensuring their quality standards. To implement those tasks, multidisciplinary cultural ensembles were formed through professional leaders, with the involvement of creative and gifted students and professors.

Cultural center groups
Choir
During its activity, the choir presented around six dozen songs. Students of different faculties of YSU participate in YSU Choir classes.
Ruben Karaseferyan, the laureate of many competitions, is the conductor of the YSU Choir, and Karen Sargsyan, the Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia, is the art director.
Girls' dance ensemble
To be included in the dance ensemble, students take part in competitions-reviews, as a result of which students who have dancing abilities are selected.
The art director of YSU’s dance ensemble is Ani Haroyan.
YSU BAND
Group classes take place two days a week for 2 hours.
The art director of the band is the famous musician, composer, and instrumentalist Artur Hakobyan
Cinema club
Taking into account the great influence of cinema in dictating a high cultural taste to the new generation, and the fact that there is currently a misunderstanding about cinema, YSU Charles Aznavour Culture Center created "Kinoakumb (cinema club)", in 2009, which gives a real insight into the perception of cinema art.
"NIKE" squad
Initiative, implementer, and volunteering youth ("NIKE" squad).
The squad includes those students studying in different faculties of YSU who are ready to support various activities of the Culture Center voluntarily.
A group of young creators
The group of young creators includes talented students who work in the fields of literature, fine art photography and applied art, whose works are regularly submitted to competitions and festivals. Master classes with specialists in the field are often organized within the activities of the group.
