American Studies Center
American Studies Center (ASC) is a research and educational center established at Yerevan State University in 2019 within the framework of the American Studies grant program funded by U.S. Department of State.
The ASC main partner in implementing the American Studies program is Arizona State University; the largest state university in the U.S. and the longstanding institutional partner of YSU, with an expansive and fruitful cooperation experience spanning to almost 20 years of collaboration in Public Administration and Policy, Leadership and other fields.
American Studies Center main activities:
- Interdisciplinary education
- Interdisciplinary and specialized research in the field of American Studies, Foreign Policy and International Relations
The major mission-based aims of the Center include but not limited to
- promotion and development of academic and professional environment conductive for high-quality social science research,
- fostering and supporting of internationalization of higher education at YSU,
- support U.S.-Armenia cooperation,
- foster creation of academic and professional environment for social and science research
