The main indicator of the university's visual identity is the coat of arms in a circle with an acute-angled edge (hereinafter, the logo). The YSU logo is used on all university-related documents, printed and electronic materials, and all YSU brand items.

The Yerevan State University Anthem was created in May 2004. The authors of the YSU Anthem are composer Robert Amirkhanyan and poet Hovik Hoveyan.
The flag of Yerevan State University is blue, the edges have golden fringes, and the YSU golden coat of arms is in the center. The width-to-length ratio of the flag is 1:2.
