The following research works are carried out in the above departments:
- Identification of synthesis methods of a number of important organic compounds containing sulfur, nitrogen and oxygen, including asymmetric processing, biological and catalytic properties of the synthesized compounds and their connection with the structure,
- Study of a number of molecules and biological targets with the help of physicochemical properties: fluorescence, UV-visible, IR and Raman spectrometry, vibrating tube density meter, particle sizes determination and computer modeling, identification of patterns with great prospects for development,
- Study of the influence of physical factors on natural adsorbents, determination of the physical parameter for evaluating the effectiveness of the physical transformation of the adsorbent - surface potential, synthesis and study of the properties of complex compounds,
- Study of seasonal changes in water chemical composition of a number of rivers of RA and identification of pollutants.
