The YSU Rectorate is a consultative body attached to the Rector

The Rectorate of YSU is a consultative body attached to the Rector, which discusses issues related to YSU's fields of activity and submits advisory proposals to the Rector in the period between the sessions of the YSU Board of Trustees and the Academic Council.

YSU Rector approves the nominal composition of the Rectorate. The Rector, Vice-rectors, Scientific Secretary, Chief of the Rector's staff, Rector's advisers, assistants, the President of the Trade union (with consent), the Director of the Ijevan branch, the heads of YSU structural units, the heads of units carrying out scientific and educational activities and the President of the Student Council are included in the Rectorate.

At the invitation of the Rector, extra-university specialists with special qualifications in a specific field can also participate in the sessions of the Rectorate.
