Chair of Biomedical Sciences

The Chair of Biomedical Sciences was established in 2015 based on the foundation of the Chair of Pharmaceutical Chemistry operating since 1998 at YSU Faculty of Pharmacology and Chemistry. In 2017, The Chair of Biomedical Sciences was included in the newly created Institute of Pharmacy.

The educational activity of the Chair is aimed at teaching the medical subjects related to pharmacology, which are necessary for training a modern pharmacist with high professional knowledge, abilities, and skills.

The teaching staff of the Chair of Biomedical Sciences, along with educational activities, is engaged in scientific research activities, and being involved in international and local grant programs.

The Chair offers "Pharmacy" Undergraduate and Master's, as well as "Pharmaceutical Chemistry" Undergraduate and "Drug Quality Control" Master's degree educational programs.
