About the program
The duration of study in the "Mechanics" educational program is 4 years.
Admission requirements
Admission is made according to the admission procedure of RA state and non-state higher educational institutions.
Applicants take entrance exams in Mathematics (Written) and Physics (Written) or English (Written).
The aim of the program
The program aims to provide students with fundamental and comprehensive knowledge from various fields of mechanics and mathematics: theoretical mechanics, fluid mechanics, control theory, applied mechanics, stability theory, mathematical modeling of systems and robotics, mathematical analysis, mathematical physics, etc., to familiarize them with modern programming languages, technologies and their application, modern methods of computational mathematics, to form theoretical and applied mechanics, mathematics teaching abilities in secondary and professional educational institutions among the graduates, to form abilities to continue education in Master's and Postgraduate programs and to engage in research and design activities. Based on the acquired knowledge, the graduates will have an opportunity to work in scientific and technical, engineering, design, and information sector institutions,
Advantages
At the end of the program, the graduates will hold basic knowledge of mechanics and mathematics and will master the methods of computational mathematics, modern programming languages, and technologies, with wide opportunities to work in the field.
