About the program
The "Service" educational program (full-time and part-time modes of study) is available at the YSU Department of Service for the Bachelor and Master's educational levels.
Admission requirements
To be admitted to the "Service" educational program, the following competitive exams are taken:
The Armenian language and literature (written)
Foreign language (written) or geography (written).
The aim of the program
The program aims to prepare managers of the service in general and the tourism sector in particular, and specialists in the planning and organization of services in them. To achieve that goal, students are given basic and cross-sectoral knowledge about the bases of planning and organization of services, with geographical, economic, marketing, managerial, socio-psychological, sustainable development concepts, service science, and tourism orientations. The acquired knowledge is the basis for working in the fields of socio-cultural and tourist services (hotel and restaurant enterprises, tourist operator and agency services, scientific-educational and cultural institutions, health institutions, financial and banking organizations, and commercial organizations).
