Admission requirements

Admission is organized by the "Regulation of admission to RA state and non-state higher educational institutions (by the Bachelor's educational program)" approved by the RA Government.

The aim of the program

The program aims to provide basic knowledge about the different levels of the Russian language and the main stages of the history of Russian literature, as well as to teach to analyze various linguistic phenomena and literary works.

Advantages

The Chairs of Russian Literature and Russian Linguistics, Typology, and Communication Theory of the Faculty of Russian Philology are the only ones in the republic that implement such an educational program. The high-quality specialists of the mentioned chairs, in addition to teaching work, are also involved in scientific activities.

Career opportunities

Graduates of the program can work in secondary and secondary vocational educational institutions (as a teacher of Russian language and Russian literature), information and advertising agencies, publishing houses and editorial offices, museums, and international, state, and private organizations, where knowledge of Armenian and Russian is needed.

Graduates of the program can continue their studies in the Master's program of the Faculty of Russian Philology of YSU.
