The proposed project goals are to theoretically and computationally analyse the secondary and tertiary structures of biopolymers, their stability and kinetic properties using the methods of statistical mechanics, nonequilibrium thermodynamics, quantum optics, quantum field theory and computer simulation. The project aims to study the equilibrium state and kinetic properties of nucleic acids and proteins as well as to develop new approaches to study the conductivity of biopolymers.
