Students from Sciences Po University of Paris hosted at YSU The Summer School "Armenia in Regional and Global Context" has launched at YSU, welcoming the active participation of 17 students from France. University-labor market partnership ties get stronger Yerevan State University hosted a focus group discussion with representatives of the financial, banking and service sectors under the title "Problems and Prospects of University-Labor Market Cooperation" with the aim of strengthening partnership ties. Within the framework of the meeting, discussions revolved around a number of issues related to the regulation of university-labor market relations, areas of cooperation, as well as the design and implementation process of target programs.
Distinguished Professor Anna Ohanian from Stonehill College in Massachusetts at YSU Anna Ohanian, Richard B. Finnegan Distinguished Professor at the Chair of the Department of Political Science and International Studies at Stonehill College in Massachusetts, USA, delivered a lecture at YSU. The purpose of the meeting was to introduce the impact of imperial social order on contemporary studies of democratization.
Armen Martirosyan and Razmik Mkhitaryan awarded YSU Golden Medal Today, the Head of the YSU Chair of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry, Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Associate Professor Armen Martiryan, and Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Associate Professor at the same Chair Razmik Mkhitaryan have been honored with YSU Gold Medals. Promoting Armenian-Kazakh scientific and educational ties: Kazakh students at YSU Eleven graduate students from Gumilyov Eurasian National University (Kazakhstan, Astana) are currently undergoing professional training at the YSU Faculty of Geology and Geography. The number of Kazakh students visiting YSU as part of the memorandum of cooperation signed between the two universities in 2015 continues to grow year after year.
