STUDENT COOPERATION AND INFORMATION EXCHANGE. STUDENTS OF FACULTY OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS WELCOME TO STUDENTS OF LUND UNIVERSITY
YSU Faculty of International Relations hosted the members of the Political and Economic Association of the Lund University of Sweden today.
The Lund University Political and Economic Association is a student organization, which is created to bring together students who are interested in politics, economic affairs and social issues.
In addition, members of the Association try to establish contacts with students of foreign Unversietes by discussing issues of mutual interest with them.
Martin Tovmasyan, the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of International Relations, told us that the initiators of the meeting today were the members of the Association who contacted the faculty leadership and expressed a wish to visit YSU, meet with students to discuss professional and other topics.
Dean of the Faculty of International Relations Gegham Petrosyan welcomed the guests and wished them an effective meeting, after which the students presented to the guests what educational programs are being implemented at YSU and what opportunities are available to make student life more interesting.
Eleonora Rönström, a member of the Lund University Political and Economic Association, who is also the head of the organization's travel committee, told us that all university students can join the association, regardless of their profession. “We are united by our interests. For example, I study at the Faculty of Law. ”
"This time we decided to visit Armenia, because studying the history of the country and getting acquainted with political issues, we realized that we wanted to get more information and to study the peculiarities of the country in depth," said Eleonora Rönström.
During the meeting the students of both universities discussed different topics.
