"ARTSAKH ISSUE AT THE CORE OF REGIONAL DEVELOPMENTS." LECTURE AT YSU
On the initiative of YSU Faculty of International Relations SSS, Alain Ghevondyan, Associate Professor of the Chair of Political Institutions and Processes, delivered a speech today in the conference hall of the Academic Council entitled "Artsakh Issue at the Core of Regional Developments".
According to YSU Faculty of International Relations SSS Chairman Arman Grigoryan, the Second Artsakh War can be considered the beginning of a new cycle for Artsakh issue. "The issue of the catastrophic war and the no less catastrophic post-war period is and should always be on Artsakh issue in all its depth."
Speaking about the Artsakh issue, Alen Ghevondyan recalled the first round of the war, noting that at that time there was an inner conviction that future generations would not face that reality, but life, history and political miscalculations showed otherwise.
According to him, not only the previous authorities but also we, YSU, had to be prepared with the quality of education so that Artsakh would be a real value.
Alen Ghevondyan stated that today the Artsakh issue is in the field of control of two main rival loads - the Russian Federation and the Republic of Turkey.
