"THERE IS NO AN INSURMOUNTABLE OBSTACLE IF YOU BELIEVE IN YOURSELF." YSU STUDENT HOVHANNES YUKINYAN
Hovhannes Yukinyan, a student of the YSU Faculty of International Relations, is studying at the University of Evora (Portugal) within the framework of the "Erasmus+" international credit mobility program. We talked with him about the opportunities provided by the faculty, studying abroad, and other topics.
Hovhannes tells.
Being a student of Yerevan State University is a great honor for me.
I remember the path I went through to get into YSU, as I could not imagine myself in any other educational institution. Yerevan State University is not just an educational center for me, but a great and invaluable asset. It allowed me to express myself at my best, as well as the knowledge that I can apply not only professionally, but also in any other field.
Representing Yerevan State University abroad is very binding.
Although I am the only Armenian student here in Evora, to my surprise and joy, everyone is informed about Armenia and has a positive opinion of us Armenians. Many people express their desire to come to Armenia, to discover our country, especially to get acquainted with the educational and student environment of YSU, to communicate with the faculty who always supports the student in every matter, as I tell a lot about it here.
YSU has its own place and role in continuing my studies in Evora.
It is the experience and knowledge gained at the YSU Faculty of International Relations that help me achieve my goals. I am sure that the university will help many other fellows. You just need to make up your mind. Of course, there are challenges, but there is no insurmountable obstacle if you believe in yourself. I advise all YSU students to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the university, believe in their strengths, and confidently move forward.
I have decided that after returning to my homeland and graduating from my dearest university, I will use the knowledge I gained in two educational institutions for the benefit of our country.
