Yerevan State University organizes subject Olympiads for schoolchildren every year, in which a large number of students participate.
The YSU Admissions and Applicants Center organized the YSU Schoolchildren Olympiad (with two stages) in 12 subjects of general education this year, in which 1286 schoolchildren participated in the first stage. Among them, 496 pupils who showed the best results participated in the II stage.
On April 15, an Olympiad was also held in non-general education subjects: "History of the Armenian Church", "Logic" and "Human Rights and Democracy" (first stage).
76 students who won in the Olympiad were awarded I, II, and III class diplomas, allowing them to receive a tuition discount in the first year of 50, 40, and 30 percent, respectively.
