If you have children aged 9-12, we extend a warm invitation to you for an interesting program scheduled for June 6th at 2:30 p.m. This event will take place at the History Museum named after Professor Ludwig Gharibjanyan of Yerevan State University.
There will be a meeting with YSU employee parents and their 9-12-year-old children on the topic "The Role of Fairy Tales and Fables in Children's Lives".
The meeting format will be synchronous, with separate activities conducted simultaneously for parents and children in parallel halls. Parents will have the opportunity to engage in a meeting-conversation with Professor of Philological Sciences Alvard Jivanyan will be held for parents. She will talk about the importance of a fairy tale in raising children, offering insights on selecting appropriate tales based on age, individual characteristics, and preferences.
Meanwhile, Associate Professor of Philological Sciences Nvard Vardanyan will have a meeting with the children. Exploring the origins and evolution of fables, she will read selected fables and facilitate discussions about them. The interactive meeting aims to not only broaden children's understanding of fables but also help them to make analyzes and present them freely to their peers.
