The international conference on "Exploring Galactic Cosmic Ray Accelerators with Ultra-High Energy Gamma-Rays"  will be held in Yerevan from Oct 10- to Oct 13.  The participants from twelve countries will discuss the origin of one of the most fascinating discoveries in astrophysics - the detection of numerous sources of ultra-high energy gamma rays, which reveal the sites of acceleration of cosmic rays in the galaxy. The conference is jointly organized by Yerevan State University,
the  Max-Planck Institute for Nuclear Physics (Heidelberg, Germany), the Italian National Institute for Astrophysics  (Milan, Italy), the Institute of High Energy Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences  (Beijing, China).
