The English Chair of Cross-Cultural Communication
The English Chair of Cross-Cultural Communication has been operating since September 2012. Dr., Professor Shushanik Paronyan is the founding head of the Chair.
Since its establishment, the Chair has been training high-level English specialists who can effectively communicate with representatives of different language cultures by applying the mechanism of language adaptation. The training is aimed at the development of written and spoken English, as well as improving communication skills through Internet writing (advertising and content information).
The Chair carries out large-scale teaching-methodical and scientific research work aimed at solving theoretical and practical problems related to the fields of linguistics, intercultural practice, stylistics, business communication, and teaching methodology of English as a foreign language.
The Chair includes leading specialists in English, linguists, doctor of philology professors, Ph. The Chair's scientist-pedagogues are involved in local and international training programs and are the authors of educational manuals, monographs, and scientific articles, which are also published in periodicals with a high impact factor.
The Chair implements the "Cross-Cultural Communication (English)" Undergraduate and "Linguistics of International Business Communication" Master's degree educational programs.
