As part of the cooperation agreement signed between YSU and the University of Beira Interior (UBI) in Portugal within the framework of the International Credit Mobility Action of "Erasmus+", the Faculty of Sociology hosted three professors from UBI on April 22-26.
Nuno Jeronimo, Vice President of the Department of Sociology at the University of Beira Interior, led a delegation that presented UBI's structure to students and professors at YSU Faculty of Sociology. They discussed UBI's faculties, their features, and the opportunities available through the 'Erasmus+' exchange programs.
N. Jeronimo delivered a special lecture on the topic "Creative writing" for the second-year students of the "Public Relations" bachelor's educational program. Inna Matyushkina gave the lecture on "Propaganda and Communication" to the same cohort. And Katarina Oliveira presented a lecture on the topic "Social Entrepreneurship" for the second-year students of the "Social Work" bachelor's educational program.
The topics discussed seem quite engaging for both faculty members and students, fostering an expectation of fruitful and sustained collaboration.
