General information
It is known that the world is running out of hydrocarbon energy sources. The search for alternative and 'green' energy sources is very important. Among such energy sources, hydrogen is considered a highly promising gas due to its high calorific value and non-hazardous emissions when burned. The only drawback of hydrogen in terms of use is the high degree of explosiveness, the risks of which can be reduced by installing reliable hydrogen sensors in appropriate environments. Within the framework of the project it is planned to synthesize semiconductor multicomponent compounds and on the basis of which nanostructured sensors (in the final stage, also a detector) will be made with sensitivity to extremely low concentrations of hydrogen, low operating temperature and temporal stability of parameters.
