Synthesis of alginate-Ag hydrosols and development of the new antibacterial agents on their basis for the prevention and treatment of fish diseases.

The freshwater aquaculture in Armenia is a relatively new field as compared with the other sectors of the agriculture of the republic. Aquaculture remains a key source of healthy food for the population of the republic. Systematic bacterial infections of freshwater aquaculture of rainbow cause serious economic losses to the pond culture all across the globe. Among the infectious agents of bacterioses the most relevant are agents of flavobacteriosis, furunculosis, pseudomonoses, aeromonoses, etc. Most fish cultures in Armenia which do intensive aquaculture also periodically face problems related to the fish health at different stages of its cultivation. Given the world tendencies of ecologization of the production of agricultural production, the creation of compositional drugs including antibiotics and herbal biologically active components is relevant. The creation of new formulations of antibiotics with the nanoparticles of silver covered with a shell of polysaccharide extracted from algae will enable to receive materials which possess an antibacterial effect which is provided for in the presented application, will contribute to the decrease in the volumes of consumption of antibiotics and safe of fish production.
