Today, the imperative of time dictates to make not only gas sensors based on traditionally used hard substrate, but also flexible and ultra-light sensor systems. In such systems, it is preferable to use one- and two-dimensional nanostructures, which stand out with an excellent combination of gas sensing parameters. Among these structures carbon nanotubes and their composite compounds are more preferred due to their high flexibility, elasticity, portability and stability of electrochemical parameters. In the framework of the project it is planned to synthesize of carbon nanotubes and nanocomposite compounds and develop of flexible gas sensors based on them for detection explosive, flammable, toxic gases and volatile organic compounds.
