General information
The aim of this project is to study the effect of biologically active compounds such as radioprotectors and porphyrins on the structural features of blood DNA in health and disease. It is planned to study the damage to the DNA molecule in the blood of donors of volunteers during irradiation, to evaluate the effectiveness of using new radioprotectors, as well as the peculiarities of complexation with porphyrins at different pH values of the environment. It is also planned to study some characteristics of the blood of healthy and oncological donor volunteers, especially the pH value depending on the amount of lactate in the blood, which can play an important role in the process of tumor formation. For this, it is planned to obtain spectrophotometric and fluorescent titration spectra, melting curves, and to determine the viscosity and equilibrium thermodynamic binding parameters. The results will further improve the studied biologically active compounds that can be used to protect living organisms from the harmful effects of ionizing radiation, as well as to change environmental conditions for the treatment of diseases.
