YSU LUDWIG GHARIBJANYAN HISTORY MUSEUM AWARDED HOVHANNES KARAPETYAN COMMEMORATIVE MEDAL
A competition-exhibition entitled "Man and Stone" dedicated to the 145th anniversary of the museum's founder, first director, Professor Hovhannes Karapetyan took place today at the Geological Museum of the Institute of Geological Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia.
151 representatives from 17 countries take part in the exhibition, including 6 art centers, 18 museums, including the YSU Ludwig Gharibjanyan History Museum.

During the competition-exhibition, the participants presented a variety of original works of art, highlighted the role of the well-deserved and internationally renowned scientist Hovhannes Karapetyan in the development of Geology, as well as were awarded the Hovhannes Karapetyan Memorial Medal.
Korean-Japanese paintings were displayed during the event.
