YSU hosted the students of Gyumri "Nor Luyce "
Students of Gyumri "Nor Luyce " were hosted at YSU today on the initiative of the Department of Pre-University Education.
Gyumri "Nor Luyce " NGO was founded in 2009.
The goal of the organization is to promote the education and development of teenage girls, to help them become more self-confident, to recognize their rights and responsibilities.
In a conversation with us, Alina Martirosyan, responsible for the meeting, mentioned that the program was previously intended for orphanages and children from socially vulnerable families, but the program has expanded year by year, involving teenage girls.
The students were the first to be hosted by YSU Faculty of Geography and Geology. They were greeted by the Head of the Chair of Service Seyran Suvaryan.
When choosing a profession, Seyran Suvaryan advised to choose it not according to the existing stereotypes, but to follow the requirements of the market.
Then the students visited the Faculty of International Relations, where they got acquainted with the history and functions of the faculty.
