IMMORTAL MONUMENT COMPETITION FOR UNIVERSITY HEROES. THE EXHIBITION OF SKETCH PROPOSALS HAS STARTED
The exhibition of sketch proposals of the open competition for the monument (memorial) of YSU students and employees who took part in the war and sacrificed their lives for the homeland has started in the lobby of YSU Library.
The aim of the competition, announced in March, is to select the best design proposal for the construction of a monument (memorial) to the memory of YSU students and employees who took part in the war unleashed by Azerbaijan and heroically sacrificed.
In a conversation with us, YSU Scientific Secretary Levon Hovsepyan stated that the deadline for receiving applications for the competition ended on April 30. "We have been presented with 7 sketch proposals, all of which are displayed in the lobby of YSU Library."
Levon Hovsepyan informed that three prize places have been set for the competition, the winners of which will be decided by the commission, which includes famous architects, university representatives, as well as the parents of the killed students. "The sketch project, which won the main prize of the competition, will be the basis for the implementation of the structure."
