Center for Legal Studies
The Legal Studies Center of the YSU Faculty of Law has been operating since 1995.
In 1997, under the auspices of the US Agency for International Development (USAID), the computer center of the faculty, the reading room, and the small printing house were created within the center.
The computer center is equipped with modern equipment. There, courses, seminars, and practical training on various computer skills are organized and conducted for faculty representatives and students. The necessary conditions are created in the center for faculty representatives and students to conduct various scientific and research studies.
The reading room is equipped with about 1000 units of professional and related literature (textbooks in Armenian and foreign languages, study manuals, monographs, scientific magazines, and other publications). Library funds are supplemented by subscription, book exchange, and donation funds.
Faculty representatives and students, as well as anyone who has a YSU library ticket, can use the reading room. Those who wish can search for the necessary literature and normative legal acts through the introduced electronic directory.
Since 1998, the lecture materials authored by the teaching staff of the faculty have been reproduced and given to the students in the small printing house of the faculty. Currently, educational manuals, textbooks, and monographs are being prepared for printing here. In the printing house, materials necessary for the educational process, drafts of codes and other legal acts, and teaching materials are also reproduced and given to students.
