YSU Center for Chinese Language and Chinese Culture
The Center for Chinese Language and Chinese Culture of the Faculty of International Relations was founded by the decision of the YSU Board of Trustees on June 19, 2015. The head of the Diplomatic Service and Professional Communication Chair of the Faculty of International Relations, Ph.D., Associate Professor Suzanna Navasardyan, leads the Center.
The main tasks and functions of the center:
To promote Chinese language teaching at YSU.
To direct students' educational interest to Chinese cultural values.
Support the implementation of the Chinese language learning process in YSU; organize relevant professional courses for YSU students.
To support YSU's cooperation with the Embassy of the People's Republic of China accredited in the Republic of Armenia and with the Confucius Institute of V. Brusov State University.
To cooperate with YSU and other scientific centers and universities for efficient performance of the center's work, as well as exchange of experience.
To organize individual and group Chinese language courses for both YSU and other university applicants according to internal standards.
To plan and conduct thematic courses, film screenings, exhibitions, and olympiads in the fields of the Chinese language, Chinese culture, religion, and history, as well as celebrate national holidays and other events.
