Chair of Economics of Innovation

The Chair of Economics of Innovation was founded in 2019. The head of the Chair is Dr., Professor Ashot Markosyan. The creation of the Chair was conditioned by the following goals adopted in the field of higher education:

• To develop innovative activities in the field of science,

• To promote the competitiveness and internationalization of higher education, science, and innovative developments of the Republic of Armenia,

• To bring them in line with international development trends and socio-economic development programs of the Republic of Armenia.

The Chair implements the "Innovation Management" Master's degree program.

All professors of the Chair have rich experience in key areas of the RA economy, such as the public administration system, patenting and copyright protection, social services, etc.

The activities of the Chair's lecturers were highly appreciated by the RA President, the RA Prime Minister, the RA National Assembly, and the President of the Russian Federation (within the framework of the CIS), awarding them high awards and incentive prizes.
