YSU, Ucom sign cooperation memorandum
Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, Rector of Yerevan State University, and Ralph Yirikian, Director General of Ucom, attaching importance to the role of partnership and cooperation in students' education and specialization, signed a cooperation memorandum.
According to the memorandum, the experienced employees of Ucom Company will also be involved in the processes of development and implementation of YSU educational programs. In addition, the company will organize internships for YSU students.
The two parties will collaborate in organizing and hosting open classes, seminars and discussions. The memorandum also stipulates that the company will, as appropriate and at its discretion, offer employment to the top-performing students following testing and interviews.
"I am sure that this memorandum will provide new opportunities for our students. It will strengthen the connection between the academic and practical spheres, providing more favorable conditions for the growth of knowledge and professional skills. YSU is committed to delivering high-quality education, and this cooperation with Ucom Company will enable us to enhance our educational programs with innovative solutions and technologies," YSU Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan noted.
"Today, everyone in the world knows that a company's success hinges on its team and the talents it comprises. In Armenia, it is also very important to work with young people, to prepare them for building their career paths. At Ucom, we believe that we should contribute to shaping the practical future of today's students, and that's why we are happy to establish this cooperation with Yerevan State University," said Ralph Yirikian, Director General of Ucom.
The parties expressed hope that the cooperation will be fruitful, providing new opportunities and fostering success for students and the two institutions.
