With the purpose of implementing a research project her studies will last 5 months.

YSU assistants research new approaches to promote plant growth in saline soils Gayane Avetisova and Lusine Melkonyan, assistants at the Chair of Pharmacochemistry and Pharmacognosy, YSU Institute of Pharmacy, are authors of several scientific articles. As part of their research, they studied the effect of soil salinization on the nitrogen-fixing microflora in Armenia and Belarus, as well as the approaches to obtaining new strains for the restoration of saline soils. The research studies were carried out within the framework of the Armenian-Belarusian scientific project.

From YSU to San Jose State University: student Alber Makaryan’s story Alber Makaryan, a student at the YSU Faculty of Economics and Management, has been studying at San Jose State University, USA for two months. He is the second student of the faculty who is continuing his education abroad within the framework of the cooperation between YSU " Data Science in Business" and San Jose State University "Data Analysis" master’s programs.
Conference dedicated to World Social Work Day At the initiative of YSU Faculty of Sociology and Armenian Association of Social Workers, a conference titled " War and Peace in Focus of Social Sciences" was held, which aimed at discussing the impact of wars and violent conflicts taking place in the world on social processes and the mission and possibilities of social sciences.

Practical steps in line with scientific advancement at YSU Along with scientific advancement, the demand for gas sensors is increasing, towards which practical steps are being taken at YSU. Artak Sayunts, Researcher at the YSU Center of Semiconductor Devices and Nanotechnologies, Candidate of Technical Sciences, has more than 40 scientific works published in international prominent journals and conference materials, and the study of gas sensors is central to those works.
