THE STATEMENT OF THE NA DEPUTY WAS DISCUSSED IN YSU ACADEMIC COUNCIL. THERE WILL BE AN ADDITIONAL SESSION OF THE ACADEMIC COUNCIL FOR A COMMON POSITION
During today's sitting of the Scientific Council, the necessity of expressing a position on the speech of the NA deputy Lusine Badalyan.
According to Armen Avetisyan, Lusine Badalyan's speech, in which she says that lectures should be sifted, is a rude attitude towards the lectures.
Besides, according to Armen Avetisyan, the National Assembly has never called for political persecution of lecturers who have tried to criticize the government or the Prime Minister.
As for the deputy's speech, according to Gegham Gevorgyan, there is no need to discuss it.
"If you have noticed, I have not responded to any statements made by anyone. A lot has been said about me, but I haven't paid attention. And now, if we discuss, what that person said, we will make it to look serious. We just have to ignore it,"he said.
Dean of YSU Faculty of Oriental Studies Ruben Melkonyan expressed his disagreement with the rector's opinion and said that it would be right for YSU to issue a statement on insulting the dignity of lecturers.
Armen Avetisyan made the deputy's speech available during the discussion.
After the speech, the rector's office Gegham Gevorgyan said that his attitude towards this issue is tougher, as, in fact, the deputy accuses the university professors of bribery.
